Baradero te Informa
About the project
Baradero Te Informa (BTI) is a regional news portal with an average of 10,000 visits per day.
The site was designed a few years ago and had no support from the developers. In turn, different functionalities were carried out by plugins and other integrations, which were also discontinued or outdated. For the above reasons, the portal suffered from constant attacks on its security.
In addition, the site did not have support for mobile devices.
Finally, BTI wanted a more modern design, while maintaining the aesthetics and simplicity characteristic of the portal.
Our Contribution
From the initial overview we worked on the following stages:
We checked the initial project and planned the modifications to be made. We redesigned the structure and general look & feel of the website.
We included a review and updated of each of the plugins and integrations that were being used, replacing those that were discontinued and outdated with others that solved the same functionalities.
We advised and assisted in the resolution of pre-existing problems of the back-end (server side) and accompanied in the process of migrating the site files to a new web hosting provider, thus solving the above mentioned issues.
Results
Today the portal has a modern design and updated look & feel.
The website is optimized for mobile devices.
We stopped the attacks on the site’s security that were affecting its normal functioning.
We improved the search engine positioning of the portal’s sections.
